Ohio's Jobless Rate Declined In November

Ohio’s unemployment rate for November is 5 percent, down three-tenths of a point from October. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says the jobless rate hit a 13-year low in November as the state added nearly 18 thousand jobs. Manufacturing, professional and business services and other sectors saw the highest job gains. The government, education and health care sectors had the greatest losses. The state's rate is below the national rate of 5.8 percent. Ohio had 287 thousand jobless people last month.
