OHP Creates Distracted Driver Enforcement Corridor

Ohio Department of Transportation

The Ohio Highway Patrol says has established the state's first first distracted driver enforcement corridor on I-71 in Delaware and Morrow Counties.

Signs have been posted alerting motorists. The patrol says  the region had 4,700 distracted driving crashes in 2017, including 13 fatalities. The patrol is teaming up with state  transportation officials on the effort, which is also planned for U.S. Route 33 and State Route 188 near Lancaster later this year.
