OHP Reports Fewer Traffic Fatalities This Labor Day Holiday

WCBE Files

The Ohio Highway Patrol reports slightly fewer traffic fatalities over this year's Labor Day weekend than in 2018.

Ten people were killed in crashes this year, down from 12 a year ago. Alcohol was a factor in at least two of the deaths. Three others were not wearing seat belts. Troopers made over 660 arrests for impaired driving and nearly 350 drug-related arrests.
