Online Retailer Gets Millions In State Tax Breaks To Open Central Ohio Facility

Seattle-based online retailer Zulily is getting a 12 year, 75 percent state income tax break to open a temporary call center in suburban Columbus. The company estimates 900 new jobs will be created. Hiring will be conducted over the next three years. The state tax break is worth 6.2 million dollars. In February, the company announced a fourth quarter profit of 12.8 million dollars, an increase of nearly 300 percent over the same period a year ago.
