An Ohio State University police officer who stopped an attack on campus in 2016 was honored by President Trump Wednesday at a ceremony recognizing first responders.
Trump awarded the Medal of Valor to Officer Alan Horujko, who shot and killed Abdul Razak Ali Artan after the 18-year-old drove into a crowd outside a campus building and attacked people with a knife. The attack left 13 people injured.
Thirteen other first responders were also awarded medals yesterday.
