OSU Names Presidential Search Committee

Ohio State University has appointed a search committee to seek a successor to former president Gordon Gee. The committee includes university trustees, faculty and students. The search committee is led by trustee Jeffrey Wadsworth, CEO of Columbus-based Battelle Memorial Institute. It will formally begin working on Friday. An executive search firm is expected to have a role in the process. Gee retired July 1st after his remarks criticizing Notre Dame, Roman Catholics and Southeastern Conference schools became public.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
