OSU Paying Millions To Non-Conference Home Opponents

Records obtained by the Associated Press show Ohio State will pay more than 3 million dollars to Buffalo, San Diego State and Florida A&M to come to Ohio Stadium for games against the football Buckeyes this season. The OSU athletic department is paying Buffalo 1 million to play in the August 31st opener, San Diego State 1.2 million to play on September 7th and FAMU 900 thousand for the game on September 21st. Ohio State's eight Big Ten games do not require a guaranteed contract.
