OSU Pledges 'Monetary Resolution' For Strauss' Victims

thelantern.com

Ohio State University trustees said Thursday the school is committed to a "monetary resolution" for the men abused decades ago by the late team doctor Richard Strauss.

The university hadn't previously promised compensation, and accusers have criticized Ohio State for not resolving the matter sooner. No settlement has been reached in their lawsuits. Some of the men met with trustees yesterday. The announcement was made by the chair of the school's board of trustees.  Strauss died in 2005. No one has publicly defended him.
