OSU QB Pleads Guilty To OVI Charge

cleveland.com

A Franklin County judge today suspended the driver's license of Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett for six months following his OVI citation. The judge also fined Barrett 140 dollars and ordered him to attend a 3 day alcohol education program. The 20-year-old pleaded guilty. He was stopped at a Columbus police check point early on October 31. His arraignment was held today after being rescheduled from last Friday. The Associated Press reported the Franklin County Municipal Clerk of Courts office did not know why the proceedings were rescheduled.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
