OSU Reports Finding Racist Signs And Assaults Since Trump's Election

Associated Press

Protests continue in Columbus over the election of Donald Trump. Hundreds of people marched yesterday in Clintonville, rallying against the president-elect's plans to deport illegal immigrants and Muslim refugees. Protester Chris Wylde says he is also concerned about what could happen in the future.

That's a sentiment echoed by protestor Nadine Cartin.

Demonstrations throughout the country - and the world - entered a fifth day on Sunday. None of the local protests have been violent.  Meanwhile, Trump's election appears to be bringing out the worst in some people at Ohio State University. School officials says they're investigating reports of racist signs in one building and verbal assaults against Muslim and Latino students. OSU President Michael Drake issued a statement denouncing intimidation and urging victims or witnesses to call campus police.
