OU Trying To Help Fire-Displaced Students

athensnews.com

Ohio University is accepting donations to assist students displaced by Sunday's fire in Athens that heavily damaged several businesses and housing units near campus. The blaze damaged five buildings housing a number of businesses on Union Street. Many students who lived in apartments above the businesses lost their belongings. Several dozen students were displaced. Athens Fire Chief Robert Rymer says the flames may have originated at the rear of a clothing store, but the official cause is undetermined.
