Plan To Borrow Against Turnpike Revenue Begins

Ohio Turnpike officials are laying the groundwork for Governor John Kasich's plan to borrow against toll revenue. The turnpike commission has opened the bidding process to firms that would handle the legalities necessary to sell more than one-billion-dollars in bonds. Revenue from the bond sale would fund road construction projects across the state.
