Planned Parenthood is suing the state of Ohio seeking to block enforcement of a law that bans dilation and evacuation abortions.
Similar laws in other states have been rejected by the courts. Planned Parenthood says the law is unconstitional, the procedure is the safest method after about 15 weeks of pregnancy and the only method provided in outpatient facilities. The state promises a vigorous defense.
