Central Ohio Transit Authority

The Central Ohio Transit Authority’s board of trustees this week approved a 3 million dollar contract with a construction firm to build a new transit center on Cleveland Avenue south of State Route 161. The center will serve riders of COTA's CMAX line, which is scheduled to begin operating in 2018. The center will have 62 parking spaces. a canopy, six bus bays and an indoor waiting area. Construction is expected to be completed in late 2017. COTA is getting millions of dollars in federal grant money to cover the line's start-up costs.
