Columbus police have identified the man who was shot and killed early Tuesday on the east side.
Police say the body of 18-year-old Jamariel Caldwell was found at the West Bexley Apartments on Bryden Road. Police say he was struck by gunfire when he and a friend were in the area of Fairwood Avenue and Kent Street. The friend drove Caldwell back to the apartment complex and called police. No arrests have been made.
