Poll Shows Sanders Beats Trump In Ohio, Trump Beats Clinton

A new Quinnipiac University poll shows Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has a narrow lead over Democrat Hillary Clinton in Ohio, while Clinton rival Bernie Sanders leads Trump. Jim Letizia reports.

The poll shows Trump beating Clinton 43 to 39 percent, while Sanders beats Trump 43 to 41 percent. The telephone poll of more than 1 thousand registered voters conducted April 27 through May 7 has a margin of  error of 3 percentage points.  The poll also shows Trump leads Clinton 51 to 36 percent among men while Clinton leads Trump 43 to 36 percent among women. Trump leads Clinton 49  to 32 percent among white voters. Non-white voters back Clinton 76 to 14 percent. The poll also shows more voters believe Trump would be better at handling the economy and terrorism, Clinton is more intelligent, has higher moral standards and is better suited to handle an international crisis.
