Several Southwestern City School buildings are closed today due to power outages from heavy storms on Tuesday.
Grove City High School; Jackson Middle School; Hayes and Park Street Intermediate Schools; Buckeye Woods and Sommer Elementary Schools are among those closed. Meanwhile, National Weather Service investigators will visit Clark and Greene counties today to survey suspected tornado damage. Significant damage is reported in South Charleston, Xenia Township and Beavercreek Township . Trees were knocked down and barns were flattened between Ludlow andClifton roads near U.S. Route 68. No injuries are reported.
