Production Changes At Two Ohio Vehicle Factories

General Motors says it will install a new, 14-million-dollar press at its plant in Parma.GM hasn't said how many jobs will be created, but officials are expecting to hire new workers when the press goes on line later this year. Ford says it will shift production of two lines of pickup trucks from Mexico to its plant in Avon Lake. Production will begin early next year. The shift is part of a pledge Ford made to United Auto Workers Union leaders in 2011.
