Central Ohio's unemployment rate declined last month.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says the rate fell one-tenth of a point from July to 3.8 percent. 17 hundred new jobs were added. Franklin and Fairfield counties had rates of 3.8 precent. The rate in Delaware is 3.4 percent, with Madison and Union at 3.5 percent. The rate in Licking and Morrow counties is 3.9 percent.
