perrytribune.com

The remains of a U.S. soldier from Ohio who was killed in the Korean War are back home. The remains of U.S. Army Corporal Charles White Junior arrived yesterday in Columbus for burial in his hometown of New Lexington. White died in 1950 at a prisoner of war camp.  His remains were buried with only a number until DNA tests confirmed his identity. Services for White will be held on Friday in New Lexington.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
