Report: 98 People Arrested In Ohio For Human Trafficking Last Year

A report by the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force says police departments made 98 arrests last year, identifying 181 potential victims. The report says 85 investigations also led to 113 suspected traffickers and 68 people suspected of trying to pay for sex. 17 potential victims were saved and 67 were referred to social services.  A 2014 state law increased penalties for people convicted of soliciting sex from children or people with developmental disabilities.
