Report: More Ohio Children Lack Health Insurance Coverage

ccf.georgetown.edu

A new report from Georgetown University shows the number of uninsured Ohio children rose by 28 percent from 2016 to 2018.

That means nearly 30 thousand more kids lack coverage.  Report author Joan Alker cites policy changes as the main reason:

Alker says nationally, more than 4 million children lack coverage, including 133 thousand in Ohio.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
