Reynoldsburg Cop Charged With Drug Possession Takes Own Life In Jail

The Reynoldsburg police officer recently charged with using his position to confiscate and distribute heroin, cocaine, marijuana and Percocet has taken his own life.  Officials say 43-year-old Tye Downard was found hanging in his Delaware County jail cell early Monday. Downard allegedly delivered drugs to an individual to sell on 20 occasions between October 2015 and February 2016.
