A national political action committe is endorsing former Ohio Department of Health director Amy Acton's possible bid for U.S. Senate. The Democrat is considering a run for the seat of retiring Republican U.S. Senator Rob Portman of Ohio. The 314 Action Fund supports the candidacies of people with a background in science. Meanwhile, Fox News personality and Ohio resident Geraldo Rivera announced yesterday he will not be a candidate. Rivera earlier tweeted he was considering a run.
