Ohio Department of Health

State health officials Wednesday said Ohio hit the highest number of COVID-19 cases in a single 24-hour period, with 2,366.

Sixty six new deaths are reported. The state now has 188,105  cases and 5,149 deaths.

Nebraska, Utah, and Alabama have been added to Ohio's COVID-19 travel advisory. They join South Dakota, Idaho, Iowa, and Kansas. Indiana and Wisconsin were removed from the list, while Nevada, Wyoming, and Mississippi had incomplete data and are listed as potential risks. Those states have a COVID-19 positivity rate of 15 percent or higher. Travelers coming in and out of Ohio are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days.
