Short North Parking "Grace Period" Ends

City of Columbus

Columbus officials say the grace period to learn the new Short North parking restrictions ended Tuesday.

Police will now issue citations to those parked illegally, a month after the regulations went into effect. There is no longer any free on-street parking in the Short North, Italian Village, or Victorian Village areas north of downtown.  Residents must buy permits, and visitors must use meters or pay with a downloadable phone app.
