dpaa.mil

A slain World War II veteran from Grove City will be laid to rest this week.  The remains of U.S. Marine Gunnery Sergeant Sidney Cook will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.  Cook's remains were identified in January, 74 years after he died fighting Japanese troops in the Gilbert Islands.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
