The one-time Republican write-in candidate for governor is denying she was part of a plot to kidnap Governor Mike DeWine.
Renea Turner of Springfield is seen a video made last week taking the Oath of Office at the Statehouse, while claiming DeWine had violated his oath to support the Constitution. Turner says she told Ohio Highway Patrol Troopers she never intended to harm DeWine. The incident follows a recent FBI undercover operation into a militia group with Ohio ties attempting to kidnap the Governor of Michigan.
