State BMV Extending Grace Period For Expired Licenses And Registrations

The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles says the grace period for expired driver's licenses, ID cards, and vehicle registrations is being extended until the first of December.

The COVID-19 exemption avoids fines and tickets for tags, IDs, and registrations that expired on or after March 9th.  The BMV is allowing vehicle registrations online, but those who need a new license or ID card must renew in person.
