The Ohio Board of Education has delayed until November a vote to change state school report cards.

Republican State Representative Mike Duffey, who has been pushing for change, says the Ohio House Education Committee will likely work on the issue in September. And he’d prefer board members offer more specific recommendations then what they have sent legislators in the past.

Some board members have been put on a working group to recommend changes, but it will not reconvene until October.
