State Committee Recommends Expanding List Of Medical Marijuana Qualifying Conditions

A  committee has recommended adding anxiety and autism spectrum disorder as qualifying conditions for purchasing and using medical marijuana. 

The Ohio  Medical Board is scheduled to vote June 12 whether to accept the recommendations made Wednesday by the committee of four physicians. The board is also scheduled to vote on three other medical conditions the committee did not approve, including cannabis as treatment for opioid addiction, insomnia and depression.
