State Eliminates Two Exotic Animals Panels

The state is eliminating two panels created to help regulate ownership of exotic animals after a suicidal Muskingum County man released lions, tigers and other creatures from his farm in 2011.

The Dangerous and Restricted Animals Advisory Board and the Dangerous Wild Animals State Emergency Response Commission will be discontinued February 20. State Senator Troy Balderson says both panels accomplished their goals.
