Ohio lawmakers have approved legislation correcting a gun law passed last year.
Republican State Representative Phil Plummer says some weapons like rifles and shotguns were mistakenly added to the "dangerous ordnance" category.
Democratic State Representative Adam Miller says the process that pushed the measure through last year is partially to blame for the mistake.

The emergency measure passed the House Wednesday. It passed the Senate on Tuesday and will take effect immediately.
