The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says a Chillicothe woman was killed at Old Man’s Cave in Hocking Hills Monday.
44-year-old Victoria Schafer was killed by a falling tree branch. Hers is the third death in the area this year. The body of 55-year-old Dana Busson was recovered at Conkles Hollow State Nature Preserve in June. Twenty-two-year-old Alexander Colson died last month after falling off an overlook at Old Man’s Cave.
