State health officials say there have been more than 2 thousand new cases of COVID-19 among students and school staff, and over 7 thousand cases since the state began requiring weekly reports in mid-September.

In central Ohio the highest numbers come from the Olentangy Local Schools, the Dublin City Schools and the South-Western City Schools. Columbus City Schools, which had been on remote learning until some Career and Technical Education students returned Monday, reported 2 new cases among students, and 11 cases among staff.
