State's Jobless Rate Holds Steady

Ohio's unemployment rate for February is 4.9 percent, unchanged from January.The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says today non-farm payrolls increased by more than 12 thousand last month to nearly 5.5 million. The number of jobless workers in February was 285 thousand, up by 6 thousand from January. The state saw the largest job gains in the construction, trade and transportation, and utilities sectors. The largest job losses were in the manufacturing, and leisure and hospitality sectors.
