Strike Blamed For Decline In COTA Ridership

The American Transit Association says local bus ridership fell 1.8 percent last year.18.4 million trips were provided by Central Ohio Transit Authority busses, down from 18.8 million in 2011. The Association blames the decline on a driver's strike last summer. Nationally, the association says public transit trips rose by 100-million to 10.5 billion last year.
