Tainted Salad Processed In Springfield Kills One, Sickens Others

daytondailynews.com

Listeria in packaged salad produced at the Dole plant in Springfield is being blamed for killing one person and sickening several others. One person in Michigan is dead and 12 others in other states are hospitalized. The plant has stopped all production.  So far, there's no evidence packaged salad from other Dole plants in other locations are contaminated.  Brands of packaged salad include Dole, Fresh Selections, Simple Truth, Marketside, The Little Salad Bar and President's Choice.
