Sentencing is scheduled February 6th for a Columbus teen who has pleaded guilty to charges of striking and killing a pedestrian during a high-speed chase last year.
Ramadhan Muridi pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide, failure to stop after an accident, failure to comply and two counts of receiving stolen property in the death of 61-year-old Arthur Smith. Prosecutors say Muridi was driving a stolen vehicle when he struck Smith while fleeing Franklin County Sheriff's deputies. The chase led the sheriff's office to change its pursuit policy.
