Ohio Governor Mike DeWine told CNN Sunday he and First Lady Fran DeWine tested negative on Sauturday for COVID-19.
A diagnosis last week apparently yielded a false positive. The PCR test the two took Saturday is considered more accurate and reliable than tests conducted in advance of a planned meeting with President Trump.
DeWine also told CNN Sunday mail in voting will not be an issue this November. DeWine says Ohio has long experience voting by mail, it has worked exceedingly well in the past, and the system works vigilantly to prevent fraud. President Trump has been falsely stating mail-in voting is full of fraud.
