People lined High Street to cheer on a parade that included motorcycles, marching bands, firetrucks and floats adorned with rainbow colors. Columbus' Pride parade began 37 years ago with just 200 participants. It's now one of the largest in the country. Hundreds of others met at Mayme Moore Park for an alternative Pride celebration. Columbus Community Pride was organized by a group whose members believe Stonewall Columbus is not inclusive to the minority LGBTQ community. Tensions arose after the arrest of four peopleat last year's Pride parade.
