Thousands Still Without Power

Ohio Utilities report more than 51 thousand customers are without electricity after a series of thunderstorms swept across the state Wednesday. The severe weather brought winds of more than 70 mph, downed power lines and tore roofs off of buildings. The National Weather Service has confirmed three tornado touch downs. One toppled a barn southwest of Akron. Eastmoor residents were still without power last night. Columbus-based American Electric Power says it could take up to three days to restore service. Nearly 30 thousand Franklin County residents lost power in the storms.
