Tressel Teaching Coaching At UA

Former Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel is teaching a course on coaching at the University of Akron.
The University Vice President is teaching a course called "General Principles of Coaching" this fall with former Zips coach Jim Dennison. The three-credit course will be open to Akron students and the general public. Dennison coached at Akron when Tressel was hired as an assistant in 1974. Tressel was forced out of OSU in 2011 in the wake of the memorabilia scandal. As one of the conditions of a sanction by the NCAA, Tressel was banned from coaching for five years.
