A trial date has been set for the white University of Cincinnati police officer who shot and killed a black motorist after a traffic stop last July. The murder trial of Ray Tensing will begin on October 24. His attorney wants to move the trial out of Hamilton County. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for April 6. After the shooting, UC fired Tensing and restructured its public safety leadership. The school and the family of victim Samuel DuBose also reached a 5.3 million dollar settlement.
