Truck Crashes Into Broad Street Clinic

Four people we injured after a dump truck crashed into a building on Columbus' east side this morning.

Fire department officials say the truck ran thru the parking lot, and struck a car before hitting the East Broad Street Chiropractic Clinic.  One person inside the building was pinned under the truck. The truck driver was trapped inside the cab while the fire department assessed the scene. Two other people were taken to area hospitals.

Officials say the crash caused a natural gas leak, combined with a fuel spill from the truck.  Extricating the truck from the structure was expected to take hours.
