Two Central Ohioans Sentenced In Human Trafficking Ring

Ohio Attorney General's Office

The Ohio Attorney General's office says two men have been convicted and sentenced for their roles in operating a human trafficking ring in central Ohio.

The office says in a news release an investigation by the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force found 60-year-old Curtis Gossett and 38-year-old Jeffrey Bagley recruited dozens of homless women and women who had been incarcerated, used narcotics to control them,  and trafficked them for commercial sex. The investigation began in March 2016 after a woman told police she was a heroin addict and had been working as a prostitute for Gossett. Gossett and Bagley were sentenced to 13 years and 10 years in prison, respectively.
