State health officials Monday reported more than 800 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total of confirmed and probable cases to just under 58-thousand.
The death toll rose by 16 to 2,927.
Upper Arlington, Worthington and Hilliard are the latest communities to enact mandatory face covering ordinances for public spaces. In Upper Arlington and Hilliard, a 150 fine could be issued to repeat violators. There are health and age exemptions. Last night Columbus City Council codified Mayor Andy Ginther's order issued last week. Fines are included for repeat offenders. Dublin, Bexley, Whitehall, Westerville, and Grandview Heights also require facial coverings in public.
