Veterans Advocates Push For Medicaid Expansion

Advocates for Ohio veterans say expanding Medicaid would make 26 thousand vets eligible. The head of the Ohio National Guard says not every veteran is eligible for free health care from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. State lawmakers continue to weigh whether to move forward with Medicaid expansion. Majority Republicans in the Ohio House scrapped GOP Governor John Kasich's expansion plan from the two year state budget.
