Westerville Schools To Open Year With Remote Learning

Facebook

Westerville City Schools will start the upcoming academic year with 100 percent remote learning, moving away from a blended learning model.

That's based on recommendations from Franklin County and Columbus Public Health. Students will spend two days in online preparation on August 20 and 21. The first day of online instruction is scheduled August 24. The district says it will also restrict public use of its facilities.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
