Wright State Proposes 27 Million Dollars In Budget Cuts

wright.edu

Debate is underway at Wright State University near Dayton on a package of budget cuts. University officials want to cut 27 million dollars over the next two years through job losses, tuition hikes and decreased spending. The budget proposal offers early retirement to some employees and eliminates some unfilled positions. Some faculty say the school should start cutting expenses by canceling the presidential debate scheduled in September.
